Announcement:

A new version of XpressLab will be released on July 31st. The new version will be compatible with the current version of the Flash player. We have rebuilt the entire system from scratch to improve its speed and performance reliability, especially on busy school networks.

When the new version is released, the log-on link on the XpressLab Web site (www.xpresslab.com) will take you to the new version. All teachers will need to create a teacher account in the new version. You will be able to move all content created in the current version to the new version. Instructions will be provided to assist you in making this transition.

In addition to several new assignment features including text entry and annotation for students, we have implemented a self-administered process for creating teacher and student accounts. This will remove the need to import class lists, although importing class lists will be an option for teachers. We have also redesigned the assignment marking screens to improve ease-of-use and work-flow for teachers. The redesigned system enables us to look to the future with the aim of providing new opportunities to present XpressLab on tablets, iPads and smart phones. This development is targeted for 2013.

Thank you for your continued support of XpressLab. Our vision continues to focus on providing teachers and students with state-of-the-art technology that encourages student success through active engagement and motivation.

Best Regards,
